Information Technology Management, MS (Worldwide)

Program Overview

51社区 has partnered with聽聽to co-design professional graduate programs that are dedicated to facilitating working professionals and international students. These programs are offered in Hybrid mode, which requires international students to fulfill in-person residency requirements at the 51社区 San Francisco campus for two weekends during every 15-week聽trimester academic period. This聽program is offered with two tracks: General & Internship. The Internship Track requires an additional five units of internship coursework to be completed concurrently with the academic coursework over the duration of the program.聽Note: This program is available only to students who enroll via the University HUB聽platform.

Aligned to GGU鈥檚 leadership and service mission, the Professional MS in Information Technology Management聽program designed to advance professionals to leadership positions in the IT management field. The curriculum is grounded in the knowledge and skills for managing the four foundational components of IT: 1) software, 2) infrastructure, 3) network/communications, and 4) data.

Inspired by innovative, resilient, and competitive practices from the San Francisco Silicon Valley, the program blends courses from GGU鈥檚 ITM, Leadership, Project Management, Business Analytics programs, among others creating a STEM degree tailored to meet the needs of advanced ITM leaders, locally and globally.

Students are able to directly apply their learning in their jobs as they pursue their degrees. Unlike traditional master鈥檚 degrees, professional master鈥檚 programs聽emphasize technical training聽and the development of聽in-demand business and leadership skills.

Learning Outcomes

Curriculum

The degree program requires completion of a total of 30 units. Students must earn a grade of 鈥淐-鈥 or better in each course and cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 or better.
